Masterclass in Supine and Prone PCNL and mini-PCNL

Epworth HealthCare's UroRenal and Vascular Clinical Institute presents the First Epworth PCNL Masterclass in Supine and Prone PCNL and mini-PCNL

9.00am – 5.00pm, Saturday 24 June 2017

The Park Hyatt Ballroom

1 Parliament Place, East Melbourne VIC 3002

Techniques in percutaneous stone surgery have progressed significantly since the first Australian workshop for PCNL thirty years ago at the Freemason’s Hospital, Melbourne (now Epworth Freemason’s Hospital). New access technologies with miniaturisation, the increasing acceptance of supine positioning and better image guidance all contribute to the evolving role of PCNL in stone practice.

Narrated, As-Live video surgeries will give practical illustration of the surgical challenges and solutions of different PCNL approaches. There will plenty of opportunity to discuss tips and tricks with the faculty of experienced PCNL urologists, and see first-hand the range of the latest mini-nephroscopes, ultrasound guidance and lithotripsy technologies.
