Terms & Conditions


1. Competition

1.1. By entering Epworth HealthCare’s Healthy Mother, Healthy Baby Competition (“the Competition’), you are deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and you agree to be bound by them. 

1.2 The Competition is conducted by Epworth Foundation (trading as Epworth HealthCare) ABN 97 420 694 950 of 89 Bridge Road, Richmond, Victoria 3121 (“Epworth”).

1.3 Information on how to enter the Competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions. 

1.4 The Competition commences on 5 July 2018 at 5:00pm (AEST) and concludes 12 July 2018 at 3.00pm (AEST) (the “Competition Period”).

2. Entry eligibility 

2.1. Entry is open to persons who are residents of Victoria, Australia, and aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.  Cost of entry is free. Internet connection and usage rates may apply and are the responsibility of the entrant.

2.2. Directors and employees of Epworth and their immediate families, and companies and agencies associated with the Competition are not eligible to enter.


3. How to enter 

3.1 Share in a Facebook post the most bizarre old wives tale you’ve heard about pregnancy for your chance to win one of five double passes to the Healthy Mother, Healthy Baby seminar.  

3.2 Prize winners will be notified by 5pm on 13 July 2018 via Facebook.

3.3. Each Prize will consist of two tickets to attend the Healthy Mother, Healthy Baby seminar on Wednesday 25 July at 7:30pm at Fitwise – Level 4, 372 Albert Street, East Melbourne. Each Prize is valued at $30. There are five Prizes to be won and a Prize will be emailed or posted to each winner.    

3.4. Any personal information of entrants collected during the Competition will be destroyed after the Competition. 

3.5. A copy of Epworth’s Privacy Policy is available on line at: www.epworth.org.au/privacy  and forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

 

4. Prize details

4.1. If a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason then a substitute prize of equal value, will be awarded in lieu.

4.2. Epworth takes no responsibility for damaged or lost Prizes once a Prize has been emailed or posted to a winner.

4.3. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

4.4. Prize values are based upon the face value of the Prize voucher at the time of its printing.

4.5. Prizes will be awarded to the entrant named in the associated Facebook account or email entry.


5. Standard terms

5.1. Epworth reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Epworth, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements.  Epworth will disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who has, in the opinion of Epworth, engaged in conduct in entering the Competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or Epworth.  Entrants agree to delete such images if reasonably directed by Epworth to do so.  

5.2. Any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be invalid.

5.3. Entry in the Competition is dependent on entrants following and acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at http://www.facebook.com/terms.php  

5.4. This Competition adheres to the terms and conditions set out in the Facebook Competition guidelines which can be found at:

5.5. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Epworth and not to Facebook. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
