Mr Michael Hii

Michael Hii is an oesophago gastric and bariatric surgeon. He is passionate about surgical education and research, publishing broadly in the upper GI and bariatric literature, and presenting locally and internationally. Michael is the supervisor of junior surgical training and chair of the upper GI research group at St Vincent’s Hospital. He sits on the medical advisory committee for Epworth Freemasons, the clinical policy review committee at St Vincent’s Hospital, and holds an honorary position at Eastern Health. Current research interests include physiologic changes following bariatric surgery, and the optimization of outcomes following oesophagectomy.
