Whether attending Epworth Freemasons as a day patient or as an overnight patient, we want your stay with us to be as comfortable as possible.
Accommodation
Epworth Freemasons provides a variety of patient accommodation, including private rooms, two-bed rooms and multiple-bed rooms. Every effort will be made to provide your preferred room type however, due to varying demand we cannot always guarantee the availability of your first preference.
What to Bring to Hospital
When admitted to Epworth Freemasons overnight patients will need:
- A dressing gown
- Sleepwear
- Slippers
- Toiletries (including soap)
- A comfortable change of clothes
All patients must bring the following into Hospital:
- Current medications and prescriptions (if applicable)
- GP's contact details (including fax numbers)
- Private health insurance details
- Medicare card
- Pension card (if applicable)
- Pharmacy Entitlement card (if applicable)
- Veteran Affairs card (if applicable)
- Relevant X-rays
- Means of payment for out-of-pocket expenses
It is advised you wear comfortable clothing. Day patients should wear garments that are easy to remove and will not be difficult to put back on after treatment.
If you plan to bring any electrical appliances, please ensure they are in good repair. Appliances may require checking/testing by our electricians.
What Not to Bring
Patients are strongly advised to refrain from bringing large sums of money or valuable items into the hospital. Epworth Freemasons does not accept responsibility for the loss of or damage to patients' personal belongings.
Mobile Telephones
As mobile telephones can cause serious malfunction in electronic equipment they must not be used in the hospital. Patients are asked to refrain from bringing their mobile telephones into hospital and visitors should ensure their phones are switched off
