This 34 bed unit has a variety of surgery including colorectal, breast surgery and urology such as radical prostatectomies, TURPs and complex stone procedures. Formal and informal education is encouraged and supported and the unit has a number of nurses qualified in breast care and urology. A full time clinical educator is on hand to assist and encourage learning at all levels, and we welcome new staff with a comprehensive orientation.
