At the Epworth Medical Foundation we seek support through direct mail on a quarterly basis during the year. Funds raised through our appeals are used to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment to improve patient care.
Current Appeal
The Epworth Medical Foundation’s Summer appeal is raising funds to purchase a new foetal monitoring system to ensure the safe delivery of babies. The cost of the new system is $345,844.
The monitoring system will allow doctors to access patient information remotely and midwives to view vital information from anywhere in the ward. This provides greater flexibility, comfort, clinical efficiency and accurate reporting. This wireless and water proof system also allows mothers in labour to move freely, while being closely monitored anywhere in the ward.
