Epworth Speech Pathology department operates from Monday to Friday with Speech Pathologists working in the Rehabilitation and Acute areas.
Speech Pathologists are responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of a range of communication, cognitive and swallowing impairments. Such difficulties frequently arise as a consequence of neurological impairment such as stroke, head injury, dementia, neurosurgical intervention, respiratory, oncology, head or neck surgery, tracheostomy or general medical issues.
