Tattersall's Cancer Centre (TCC) is a state of the art radiotherapy treatment facility established in 2003 by Epworth HealthCare, in partnership with Peter Mac Cancer Centre.
Tattersall's Cancer Centre is situated on the fourth floor of the custom designed Epworth Centre in Richmond.
A comprehensive range of external beam radiation therapy treatments is offered, including:
- Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)
- A CT scanner, combined with 3D planning computer systems, incorporates new technology for the planning of complex and simple palliative techniques
TCC is equipped with cutting edge technology, unique to the southern hemisphere and is able to offer Image Guided Radiation Therapy technology.
The radiation therapy services complement the existing medical and surgical facilities at Epworth Richmond enabling the coordination of all treatment within a comprehensive treatment program.
Patients are able to participate and benefit in a range of clinical trials as this centre has an ongoing commitment to clinical research.
Patients are able to access dedicated parking spaces.
Patients requiring in-patient facilities may be admitted on-site at the Epworth Richmond or be transferred daily from other metropolitan hospitals.
Local, interstate and overseas patients are welcome.
