Advanced HealthCheck

The Advanced HealthCheck provides you with a more thorough picture of your health. You will be screened for cardiovascular risk, diabetes and cancer risk factors as well as liver and kidney function. In addition to this you will also have an abdominal ultrasound to help reveal signs of some of the most common diseases, and a stress ECG to screen for heart disease. You will also have an extensive medical examination by your HealthCheck doctor.

Prior to attending your appointment you will be asked to complete a comprehensive lifestyle and health questionnaire. By completing the questionnaire you will help your HealthCheck doctor to identify potential areas of concern in your lifestyle and risk factors for disease.

At your initial consultation the doctor will discuss your medical history and your health concerns and perform a full physical examination. You will then be referred for your screening tests, after which you will have a final consultation where the doctor will explain all of your results and where you will receive advice on lifestyle changes required to optimise your future health and referral to specialists if required. You will be given a report to keep and refer to in the future.
