Essential HealthCheck

Recommended for those below the age of 50 with no health concerns.

The Essential HealthCheck has been designed to give you an overview of your current health. The tests listed below will assess your risk of heart disease and some cancers. Often, if risks are detected at an early stage, simple changes to your lifestyle may be all that is necessary to prevent serious health problems in later life.

Prior to attending your appointment you will be asked to complete a comprehensive lifestyle and health questionnaire. By completing the questionnaire you will help your HealthCheck doctor identify risk factors for disease.

You are also required to have your blood tests at least three days prior to your appointment to ensure that your HealthCheck doctor gets your results before your visit. On the day of your appointment please wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for exercise.

Your results will be explained to you by a doctor who will give you advice on any lifestyle changes you may need to make. If no health problems are detected the doctor will provide recommendations for the future so that you may continue to enjoy good health.
