The Epworth Research Institute was founded in 2009 to promote health care research across Epworth and to provide competitive grant funding for research proposals to be conducted at Epworth HealthCare.
All Epworth HealthCare staff, students and affiliates are encouraged to apply for funding grants to support research proposals.
In 2012, the Epworth Research Institute will be providing funding in two categories:
- Major Grants of up to $50 000
- Small Grants of up to $10 000
How to Apply
Research proposals for funding consideration should be appropriately designed and structured to enable valid outcomes of the projects. Each research proposal must be able to demonstrate that it will add to health care related knowledge and may lead to improved patient care and/or outcomes either directly or indirectly.
Applications for Epworth Research Institute funding close on Friday 30 March 2012 at 5pm.
Requests for research funding must be received electronically by the Clinical Trials and Research Centre by 5pm on the closing date to be considered for funding. No late applications will be considered.
