Physiotherapists and Physical Educators use exercise prescription to maximise a patient’s potential and aim to return them to the community as near to functioning at their pre-existing physical level as possible. These programs are provided as Inpatient and Outpatient services.
Services include:
- Assessment and treatment of the patient’s physical condition
- Exercise prescription and care management / treatment planning
- Prescription of aids to assist mobility to maximal independence
- Discharge planning
