Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

Epworth HealthCare provides comprehensive orthopaedic rehabilitation with intensive inpatient programs aimed at returning individuals to optimal independence. The programs have a dedicated interdisciplinary team specialising in Rehabilitation following:

• Joint replacement
• Orthopaedic and upper and lower limb surgery
• Spinal surgery
• Musculoskeletal dysfunction

The Orthopaedic rehabilitation team works to asses each patient and will design a specific rehabilitation program based on individual needs, functional potential and goals.

An outpatient program can also be coordinated following discharge when ongoing rehabilitation is required.
