By tram: Take the 109 tram and get off at stop 57 for a short walk to Epworth Eastern.
By train: Epworth Eastern is approximately 10 minutes walk from Box Hill Central Station, located on both the Belgrave & Lilydale lines.
Parking
The car park at Epworth Eastern is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payment can be made by cash or credit card at the Autopay Stations on Level 1 and Basement Level 1.
Visitors can also purchase a weekly car park pass which enables them to enter and exit the car park as often as they like whilst visiting you in hospital. Please contact Security on level 1 for more information.
If you or your visitors park in the streets surrounding the hospital, please be aware that parking officers make regular rounds, and parking fines are substantial.

- Level 2 North 10.00am - 8:00pm
- Level 4 South 10.00am - 8:00pm

- Intensive care unit (ICU) 10:00am - 3:00pm and 4:30pm - 8:00pm
- Coronary care unit (CCU) 10.00am - 8:00pm

Long visits may tire patients, so please show consideration and stay for short periods only. We also ask that visitors are considerate of other patients and keep noise levels low when visiting, and supervise children at all times.
In the interest of all patients, if you feel unwell or know you have a cold or flu please refrain from visiting until your health improves. Please encourage others to take similar protective measures.

Flowers
Lilies are known to cause allergies and related symptoms in some people. In order to protect our patients, staff and visitors from this known allergen, Epworth does not allow lilies to be brought into any of our hospitals.
All other flowers are welcome.

Pick up and drop off
Pick up/drop off and wheelchair access is available at the front foyer.
East Wing Tower Consulting Suites and Endoscopy - enter via 25 Nelson Road, Box Hill.

Epworth Pathology is an affiliation of Melbourne Pathology and Epworth, providing quality pathology services to doctors and patients of Epworth.
The Epworth Eastern collection centre is open from Monday to Friday 8am – 6.00pm and on Saturdays from 8am - 1:00pm
Slade Pharmacy
Slade Pharmacy at Epworth Eastern offers comprehensive services to both visitors and patients.
- Monday to Friday: 8am - 6pm
- Saturday: 8am - 3pm
- Sunday: 9am - 12pm
The pharmacy supplies prescriptions, over the counter pharmaceuticals and a range of nutritional and home healthcare products. Pharmacy staff are available to counsel patients on the correct use of drugs.
Mary’s Paddock - refreshments and meals
Mary’s Paddock is located on the ground floor of Epworth Eastern. The service is currently operating as a temporary pop-up until new Café facilities open as part of the opening of East Wing Tower in 2022.
Currently offers hot and cold drinks, convenient take away light meals. Newspapers and magazines are also available. Hot meals are available in the adjoining bistro at lunchtime from 11.30am – 2pm.

Soft drink and snack vending machines are available on level 1 (street level). Box Hill shopping and dining is a short walk away, and the Box Hill R.S.L. is just across Nelson Road, next to the park.
