Determined to keep running

Ashwin Singh is a para-athlete. He suffered a brain injury, a torn liver and several other serious injuries in a motorcycle accident in
February 2011, and credits his family, his church and Epworth Rehabilitation for getting his life back on track. Literally, that is, back to the Victorian Track and Field Championships in 2017 and to be able win several gold and bronze medals. He is now training to participate in next year’s Commonwealth Games.

He says Epworth helped him get out of his hospital bed and then trained him to run again. The rehab team remember his determination and in 2016, Epworth Rehabilitation gave him some financial support to enter the Australian University Games.
