A/Prof Ron Sultana

Associate Professor Ron Sultana is a senior Emergency Physician and is the Director of Emergency Medicine at Epworth HealthCare. He has interests in emergency medicine administration, clinical decision making and biostatistics, health informatics, research, patient satisfaction, quality of care and risk management.

Ron assists in coordinating and teaching medical students on rotation to the Emergency Department, provides lectures to nurses in the critical care course, provides Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support education to General Practitioners and Specialists, and simulation-based education to emergency medicine advanced trainees and staff.

Ron is also an executive member of the Critical Care Clinical Institute, Chair of Paediatric Clinical Advisory group, Chair of the Drug and Therapeutics Committee, member of Clinical Review Committee, Standard 9 Committee, Emergency Planning Committee, and Medical Advisory Committee.
