Osteoarthritis hip and knee program


The Osteoarthritis (OA) hip and knee program is a six week program incorporating a combination of exercise and education.  


 

The program is designed to cover a range of topics to help people manage their arthritic symptoms. Individuals attend twice weekly for two hours. 


 

The main aims of the program include:


 

  • empowering people to self-manage their condition
  • equipping them with skills and information to better manage their condition
  • helping people understand their symptoms 
  • sharing knowledge of disease management.

Individuals will be guided in an individualised exercise program, and encouraged to continue the program at home.
