Appointment to practice is encouraged from the brightest talent, the sharpest minds and those who embody Epworth values. Expressions of interest from seasoned medical practitioners will be well received. We also encourage expressions of interest from emerging medical specialists and leaders.

All Epworth sites offer sessional consulting arrangements for doctors starting out in practice, including practice management support to help them establish their practice.

Information you need to practice at Epworth, including clinical policy and procedure, governance, diagnostics and services, on-call and rostering, prescribing, admitting and discharging, documentation and reporting.

Allied health professionals who wish to provide services at Epworth —whether sessional, part- or full-time in private practice — require accreditation. Epworth’s Board of Management is the accrediting body, on recommendation from Epworth’s Allied Health Advisory Committee (AHAC).

Each clinical division of Epworth HealthCare has its own Medical Advisory Committee (MAC), comprising of leading clinicians appointed by their peers. These committees advise Epworth on matters involving credentialing, clinical care, research and operational matters.
