Mentoring
As a part of the accreditation process, an appointee may be required to have a mentor for clinical practice and/or surgical procedures for a defined period and purpose. This process and decision can involve the Board of Management, Clinical Institutes and MAC members and aims to maximise the quality and engagement of your practice at Epworth.

The Victorian Doctors Health Program is an independent, confidential and free service available to all doctors practicing in Victoria. Any issues relating to your physical and mental health can be addressed via self referral.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
This complimentary service is available for salaried staff whereby a confidential professional counselling (in person or telephone) service that offers confidential, short-term support for a variety of work-related and personal problems is offered. The EAP provides access to qualified professionals, including psychologists, social workers and management coaches. Access to an EAP Portal via the intranet provides a repository of useful information about applicable services and tip sheets on various health and well-being topics.
