Dr Jacky Hewitt is a paediatric endocrinologist with expertise in the care of endocrine disorders in children. These include growth, puberty or body hair, diabetes, thyroid, vitamin D and bones, obesity, pituitary, adrenal glands, and the ovaries or testicles. She has authored numerous journal articles and treatment guidelines, and is regularly invited to speak at medical conferences and for media programs. Jacky is a university senior lecturer in paediatrics, disorders of sex development and the development of gender in children. She is an enthusiastic doctor, ensuring that her patients have best practice care, based on the most recent medical advancements.
