About

George completed his medical degree at Monash University with Honours in 2006. He was awarded the faculty prize for the medicine/surgery year of his degree. George worked as a junior doctor in Victoria, before commencing Surgical Education and Training in 2009. He completed two years of general surgery training at the Austin, Shepparton and Geelong hospitals and then commenced urology training in NSW. He completed three years at Liverpool, Newcastle and Concord Hospitals, and sat his fellowship exam in 2014. George then returned to Victoria embarking on a fellowship at Western Health, specialising in advanced laparoscopic urological procedures. George then completed an additional 12 month fellowship at the Lister Hospital in the UK, specialising in robotic urological surgery. George provides all aspects of general Urology, but has particular interest in: robotic surgery, urological cancers, minimally invasive treatment of kidney stones as well as benign prostatic obstruction. In addition to his clinical work, George has a keen interest in surgical education and medical research. He has presented at numerous scientific meetings and has several publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. George strives to provide the highest level of care to his patients, and tailors his approach to each patient's individual circumstances.
