About
Mary Ann Johnson is a general and oesophagogastric surgeon. Her main surgical and teaching interests are techniques for gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery, gastroscopy, ERCP and advanced oesophageal and gastric surgery, in particular oesophageal and gastric cancer. She teaches on Royal Australasian College of Surgeon (RACS) courses (ASSET and CCRiSP). She currently holds a professional advisor position on the St Vincent's hospital human research ethics committee and previous elected member to the RACS Victorian State Committee. She has demonstrated her passion for research by presenting nationally and internationally. Her current research interests are improving qualityoflife for patients who have major oesophagogastric surgery.
