Associate Professor Nerina Harley is the Chair of the Group Medical Advisory Council at Epworth HealthCare, a Director of the Intensive Care Council at Epworth HealthCare and the Director of the Epworth Freemasons Intensive Care Unit.
Associate Professor Harley was formerly the Clinical head of the DHHS Victorian Critical Care Network and the foundation Director of the Critical Care Institute at Epworth HealthCare. She was also the Director of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Intensive Care Unit for nine years. She has had a major role in an advisory capacity in healthcare in public, private and government activities, and is a longstanding member of Epworth HealthCare’s Medical Advisory Committee and Teaching Hospital Steering Committee. Associate Professor Harley obtained her medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 1984, trained as a physician specialising in nephrology and intensive care, and in 1992 obtained a Doctorate of Medicine.
Associate Professor Harley joined the Board of Management in January 2016 following her appointment as Chair of the Group Medical Advisory Council. Associate Professor Harley is also a director of Epworth Research Institute Ltd.
