Overview

Men have a tendency to deny feeling unwell or shrug it off with that well-worn phrase "I'll be alright". The fact is that it may often not be alright.

A unique service

The Epworth Men's Health Clinic makes it easier for men to talk about and understand their own health needs. Our doctors can help guide you towards a healthier lifestyle and teach you to avoid health problems that typically affect men, such as:

  • Heart conditions
  • High blood pressure
  • Lack of general physical fitness
  • Prostate concerns
  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Urinary problems
  • Weight management

If any problems exist, our specialist doctors can help you with advice, treatment and/or a second opinion.

Our team

When you make an appointment at the Men's Health Clinic, you won't feel rushed. You will be seen by a male doctor who has a special interest in men's health and who has the time to really listen to your concerns.

Your first appointment at the clinic allows ample time for potential problems to be discussed, diagnosed and, if necessary, tested.

If diagnostic tests are required, they can be carried out on the premises immediately, with results often available on the same day.

Office hours:

Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 3:30pm

To assist our medical staff in allocating a suitable time for you, please indicate to them the type of appointment you require (i.e. general check up, a follow up visit or a concern over a specific problem). This is particularly important for first-time visitors to the Men's Health Clinic.

Be assured that all of your enquiries and appointments are handled discreetly and in strictest confidence.

The Epworth Men's Health Clinic allows men of all ages to take control of their health with the support, guidance and understanding of our specialists who have both the time and expertise to cater for your individual needs.

Ample on-site, underground car parking is available at commercial rates. The clinic is well serviced by public transport with several tram and bus routes running along nearby Victoria Parade.
