About
Luke Chen is a neurologist and neurootologist. He is co-head of otoneurology diagnostic service, and head of Balance Disorders Clinic at the Alfred Hospital. He has special clinical interests in hearing and balance disorders (benign positional vertigo, vestibular neuritis, Meniere's disease, vestibular migraine, vestibular schwannomas, superior semicircular canal dehiscence, bilateral vestibulopathy and cerebellar diseases), neuroophthalmology, multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology. His research focuses on diagnosis of acute vertigo, vestibular physiology in central vestibular disorders, and using eye movement recordings to probe brain function in cerebellar diseases, multiple sclerosis and neurodegenerative disorders.
