The unit provides a comprehensive education program for GPs, raising awareness of the services and medical expertise available at Epworth and improving communication between Epworth and GPs. The GP Liaison Unit has grown to provide over 100 RACGP accredited quality education meetings to around 1000 GP's from Melbourne and regional Victoria annually.

Meetings are delivered through a broad range of learning modalities, including education programs held at the Epworth Clinical Education and Simulation Centre where GPs can update their clinical skills and knowledge. Furthermore, the education program provides an excellent opportunity for Epworth to engage with GPs.
