Epworth Medical Foundation Limited is a public company limited by guarantee, governed by a Board of Directors. Epworth is a charitable, not-for-profit hospital. We exist to benefit our patients and their families, not shareholders. As a registered charity; a copy of the constitution is available from the ACNC Charity Register.
Chair
Dr Philip Williams AM
Dr Williams is the Executive Chairman of Frontier Economics. He has been extensively involved with the Epworth HealthCare Board of Management since 2002, becoming Deputy President from 2004-2007 and immediately past President from 2007-2011. Dr Williams was appointed to the EMF board in 2007, and after being appointed as Vice Chair in 2014, became Chair in 2018.

Cathi Biddick AM
Cathi Biddick is a Director of Conquest Sports and Chair of the Epworth Special Events Committee. Cathi was appointed to the EMF board in 2013.

Evelyn Danos is the Executive Chairman of James Richardson. She has continued a proud family tradition of support for Epworth and was appointed to the EMF board in 2013.

Associate Professor Ron Dick is an Interventional Cardiologist and Chair of the Institute of Cardiac
Sciences at Epworth HealthCare. He was appointed to the EMF board in 2013.

Anton Gaudry is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years business experience. He is a Director of
the Gaudry Foundation. The Gaudry family have been generous supporters of Epworth and Anton
was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2020.

Brad Harris is Co-founder & Director of Signature Hospitality Group and CEO of Harris Capital. Brad’s family are generous supporters of the Foundation and he was appointed to the EMF board in 2014.

Professor Andrew Stripp is Group Chief Executive of Epworth HealthCare, bringing extensive health leadership experience gained over 30 years. He was appointed to the EMF board in 2023.
