Session Overview
A/Prof Elaine Chong will discuss common ophthalmic conditions that GPs usually encounter. This will include an overview of practical Ophthalmology and medication, oral medications for treatment of eye conditions, types of eye drops and gel ointment – what are the differences, and how to administer; discussion on the practical management of common eye conditions - Dry Eyes, Blepharitis and Chalazion /Stye, and red flags for urgent referral.
