Dr Daniel Peyton is a paediatrician, PhD candidate and health informatics trainee. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2009, a Master of Public Health in 2017 and was awarded his specialist fellowship in General Paediatrics in 2019.
He has a passion for digital health, child mental health, parenting and rigorously measuring outcomes. Dr Peyton’s special interests lie in user-centred design and using innovative digital methods to empower families to better understand and self-manage their health, with a focus on equity.
Having commenced his PhD in 2019, he is code signing, developing and trialling an online parenting platform to link parents of children with behavioural and emotional problems to community services or evidence-based online interventions.
