About

David is a UK Trained Clinical Haematologist with a specialist interest in haematological cancers, clinical trials, immune and cellular therapies, as well as treating cancer patients in their own homes.

Dr Routledge is currently a Consultant at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he is actively involved in early phase clinical trials. He is a Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of Melbourne, has published in peer review journals and presented internationally in his field.

His significant experience includes:

  • Haematological cancers, including Myeloma, Lymphoma and Leukaemia
  • Cellular and immunotherapies, including CAR-T, bispecific therapies and bone marrow transplantation
  • Blood cell, clotting and bleeding disorders
  • Acquired and inherited blood disorders

As part of his continuing commitment to improving the care for haematology patients, David has partnered with the Epworth Centre for Immunotherapies, to provide access to new and innovative treatments for patients with leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. He has made Geelong his home, is a keen runner and Cats supporter.
