About
Dr Elizabeth (Beth) Thomas is interested in preventative health throughout childhood, caring for children from birth to 18 years. She particularly enjoys attending births and providing breastfeeding support for new families. Her first daughter was born premature and this experience has taught her a deep understanding of the impact of quality care in the newborn period. She believes that education is important and is involved in teaching paediatrics both to medical students and doctors in training. She is active in the public hospital system as a working paediatrician, mentor and teacher.
