About
Dr John Morgan completed his medical and cardiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), which included 18 months of intensive care training and 3 years of cardiology training. He completed a 2 year fellowship in Echocardiography at RMH, and then spent a further 2 years at Massachusetts General Hospital as an Echocardiography Fellow gaining experience in all forms of echocardiography including transthoracic, transoesopheageal and stress echocardiography (both research and clinical components).
He is currently a Visiting Medical Officer at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, as well as the Cardiologist to the Cardiothoracic unit. His areas of interest are Ischaemic heart disease, Valvular heart disease, Heart failure, Diagnostic coronary angiography and Echocardiography including transthoracic, transoesopheageal and stress echocardiography.
