About
Lauren completed her medical degree with honours at the University of Melbourne in 2012, then undertook specialist obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Mercy Hospital for Women and Albury Wodonga Health.
In 2020 and 2021, she completed a prestigious AGES-accredited fellowship in advanced gynaecology laparoscopic surgery through the Mercy Hospital for Women and the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. She has also completed a master’s in reproductive medicine (with excellence) through the University of New South Wales. This training allows Lauren to perform complex gynaecological surgeries using minimally-invasive techniques, including the treatment of severe endometriosis, laparoscopic myomectomies and laparoscopic hysterectomies, as well as provide fertility and IVF services. Lauren was initially drawn to fertility when her patients were having difficulty falling pregnant due to endometriosis and fibroids, and wanted to continue to help them throughout their reproductive lives.
She provides fertility consultations from Newlife IVF's Box Hill and East Melbourne locations.
Please note: Lauren does not perform colposcopy, prolapse or incontinence procedures.
