Michael graduated from Melbourne University in 1989 and first experienced obstetrics during 1993 when he spent twelve months at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne, working alongside Russell Dalton. After 10 years as a rural GP, Michael then retrained as an Obstetrician Gynaecologist and was a founding partner of OGB.
Michael now has a very busy obstetric and gynaecological practice, with interests in pelvic floor surgery and incontinence, advanced laparoscopy including laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometriosis surgery, infertility and IVF. He also provides visiting gynaecological services to Ararat, Maryborough, Kyneton, and Bacchus Marsh.
Michael has a firm commitment to teaching and has been instrumental in assisting many trainees to develop high level skills.
Michael is enthusiastic about helping to develop OGB Surfcoast, and provide consulting and operative services in Geelong. He looks forward to supporting the other OGB Surfcoast doctors in providing excellence in women's healthcare.
