Dr Toan Pham

Dr Toan Pham is a qualified Colorectal Surgeon who has an interest in minimally invasive (keyhole and robotic) surgeries for colorectal and general surgical conditions, as well as endoscopy.

His current appointments include Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at Northern Health, Mercy Health and Epworth Healthcare; and Clinical Fellow of the University of Melbourne.

Dr Pham completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and Fellowship in General Surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He then undertook a PhD degree at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre/University of Melbourne in the field of colorectal cancer immunotherapy and cancer vaccine. He completed a further two years of colorectal surgery subspecialty training at Eastern Health (VIC) and Prince of Wales Hospital (NSW) on the prestigious program run by the Australia and New Zealand Training Board in Colon and Rectal Surgery (ANZTBCRS).

Outside surgery, Dr Pham enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and playing tennis.
