About

Ben is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee surgery. He has a particular interest in hip replacement surgery and in partial and total knee replacement. He also has wide experience in arthroscopic surgery of the knee including ligament reconstruction. After finishing his medical degree at University of Melbourne, he completed his orthopaedic training in Victoria. He undertook further specialist training with a fellowship in advanced hip and knee arthroplasty and sports injuries at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, UK. This also included working with the developers of the Oxford partial knee replacement and with research teams from Oxford University.
