About
Mr. Daniel Steiner graduated with honours from Monash University 2003. He won the AMA Prize for achieving the highest marks over the final 2 years. He was awarded the Clinical Committee Prize for achieving the highest marks in the 2007 Basic Surgical Training clinical exam. Daniel undertook a year of advanced training in General Surgery before commencing Urology. Daniel completed his Urology fellowship exam in 2011. Daniel undertook a fellowship year at the Western Hospital specialising in advanced laparoscopic operations. He has received local and international training on the DaVinci Robot. Daniel is a general urologist, however has special interests in: robotic surgery for prostate and kidney conditions, minimally invasive kidney stone treatment (including miniPCNL) and the latest surgical management of BPH. Daniel has presented papers at numerous national and international meetings and has numerous publications in medical journals. Daniel is the training supervisor for Urology at Western Health. Daniel takes great pride in providing the highest level of quality Urological care to his patients. He places emphasis on individualising the care of each of his patients.
