Mr Paul Plank is an Australian and internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon. He specialises in shoulder, hip and knee surgery including the arthroscopic treatment of sports injuries and joint replacements for arthritis.

Mr Plank was born and educated in Melbourne, completing his medical degree at Melbourne University in 1993. After completing his residency at Royal Melbourne Hospital, he undertook a Research Fellowship at the renowned Jo Miller Orthopaedic Research Laboratory at the Montreal General Hospital, Quebec, Canada. He then completed orthopaedic training in Sydney and obtained a fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2004. Paul then spent 2005 in Boston, USA, after being awarded the prestigious Arthroplasty Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, focusing on hip, knee and shoulder surgery, including primary and complex revision joint replacements.

Mr Plank has published articles in his sub-specialty areas, maintains a keen interest in student teaching, and is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
