About
Mr Wei-Han Tay is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions, and trauma. Specialising in the management of: Bunion and forefoot deformities, hallux rigidus or big toe arthritis, ankle instability, ankle arthritis, flatfoot deformity, midfoot arthritis, lisfranc injuries, calcaneal fractures, ankle fractures and complex foot and ankle trauma.
Wei-Han was admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons and as a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2016. He then spent another 12 months of fellowship training to gain further expertise and experience in his chosen subspecialties.
Wei-Han has public appointments at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Box Hill Hospital, performing emergency and elective surgery. He is active on the on call roster for acute trauma at both hospitals.
Wei-Han adopts an individualised and evidence based approach to patient care, using modern and proven surgical implants and techniques. He will listen to your specific concerns, and openly communicate with you about your expectations and treatment options.
