About
Mary Ann Johnson is a general and oesophago-gastric surgeon. Her main surgical and teaching interests are techniques for gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery, gastroscopy, ERCP and advanced oesophageal and gastric surgery, in particular oesophageal and gastric cancer. She teaches on RACS courses (ASSET and CcRISP). She currently holds a professional advisor position on the St Vincent's hospital human research ethics committee and is also a member of the clinical policy review committee. She has demonstrated her passion for research by presenting nationally and internationally. Her current research interests are improving quality-of-life for patients who have major oesophago-gastric surgery.
