Prof Grigg is a Vascular Surgeon. Since beginning the Vascular Surgical Unit at Box Hill he has been in active practice in the eastern suburbs, has trained many vascular surgeons and been at the forefront of many developments in Vascular Surgery. He has been a President of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Vascular Surgery and President of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has been a member of the Expert Committee of COAG and is currently Chair of the Principles and Rules Committee of the MBS and a member of the MBS Review Taskforce. He has written extensively and spoken nationally and internationally about challenges to professionalism in Medicine.
