Carolyn Terry

Bringing extensive executive experience gained across a diverse range of industries including private health, not for profit, retail and local government, Carolyn Terry joined Epworth HealthCare as Chief People Officer in November 2022.

Carolyn’s and her team’s roles focus on Epworth’s Employee Value Proposition to address the increasingly contested market for talent in our sector. Portfolio responsibilities include organisational development, safety and wellbeing, workplace relations, and workforce sustainability.

With an early career background as an occupational therapist, and eight years in senior leadership roles at Ramsay Healthcare, Carolyn has an equal passion for the health sector and for creating a positive workplace experience. In addition to a Bachelor of OT (Hons), she also holds a Master of Commerce (HR/IR) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Carolyn has built a strong reputation as an authentic, consultative, pragmatic and outcome focussed executive leader.
