The Molecular Oncology and Cancer Immunology (MOCI) pillar of the Centre runs a biorepository for haematological malignancies and other solid organ cancer samples. The MOCI Biobank is open to recruitment for wider Epworth researchers.
Research and laboratory support
We support Epworth clinicians, scientists and VMOs with study set-up, management and the genomic aspect of trials. Our ongoing projects include:
- Circulating Tumour DNA in Endometrial Cancer (CODEC)
- Circulating Tumour DNA as a Marker of Residual Disease and Response to Adjuvant Chemotherapy in Stage I-IV Epithelial Ovarian, Fallopian Tube and Primary Peritoneal Cancer (EOC)
- Accuracy and clinical utility of genomic profiling using next generation sequencing of thyroid fine needle aspiration (FNA) samples
Haematology Journal Club
We welcome clinicians, scientists and allied health professionals to join the monthly Journal Club and share knowledge, case studies and research.
Academic haematology
Our established registrar training program supports the next generation of haematology clinicians and researchers.
