Epworth’s Orthopaedic pre-admission education is designed to assist our patients to prepare both themselves, and their family, for their upcoming knee and/or hip surgery.

Patients and family members are encouraged to view all material, which follow the patient journey, and gives patients the confidence to be an active participant from their pre-operative exercise program, through to their return to home and post-surgery recovery.

Included in the video material is the Multimedia Consent Module which is a computer-animated interactive education program which all joint replacement patients and their families are invited to view.
