Epworth Physiotherapy Clinical School
Epworth HealthCare and La Trobe University partner to offer a Clinical School model of education to a cohort of students undertaking a Bachelor of Applied Science / Masters of Physiotherapy Practice.
Clinical School students undertake two core placements at Epworth HealthCare in 3rd year, and two further core placements in 4th year, offering students an immersive, nurturing and streamlined experience.
The placements are offered across our division, giving students the opportunity to work across acute and subacute settings, in Cardiothoracic, Neurology, and Orthopaedic streams.
Clinical School students are supported by a dedicated student coordinator, providing pastoral care and well-being support to students throughout their learning journey whilst at Epworth Healthcare.
Epworth Bachelor of Nursing Fellowship
This model of repeat placements for La Trobe University Bachelor of nursing students is across three year levels at various Epworth sites. The intention of this placement is to develop work ready Epworth Registered Nurses who transition into the organisation, culture and clinical environment to smoothly ensure the best care for our patients.
