Vision and mission

The Centre strives to translate all findings into improved outcomes for Epworth patients and provide support to Epworth clinicians; assisting in facilitating the consistent delivery of high value, efficient and effective care.

Research into digital health conducted by the Centre for Health Informatics aligns with Epworth’s research strategy, goals and priorities. The Centre also builds international and industry partnerships, with the goal of developing global and industry collaborations to assist in conducting leading edge research.

The capabilities of the Centre, led by Professor Nilmini Wickramasinghe, have been further strengthened by Epworth’s collaboration with Swinburne University of Technology, formalised in 2019.
