Our Maternity Staff are committed to providing a secure, supportive and caring environment for you and your family.
Our dedicated and highly trained midwives realise how important it is for you to be informed regarding the nature and process of your birthing experience. They will discuss with you the various choices and facilities available, ensuring our concern for your comfort and well being at all times.

Preparation for birth and beyond
To assist you and your family in preparing for the birth of your new baby, Epworth Freemasons offers a comprehensive education program.
The program includes information about preparing for labour, birth, breast feeding, preparing for home, twin births and parenting skills. There are information sessions for expectant fathers and grandparents.
For mothers experiencing difficulties with breast feeding, the hospital has a Day Breast Feeding Clinic, managed by qualified lactation consultants. The Clinic is situated within our suite at the Park Hyatt.
While we are proud to have the listed Obstetricians accredited to our hospital we are also cognisant of the preferences of some patients to deal only with female obstetricians. The Maternity Unit is located in the Epworth Freemasons Medical Centre at 320 Victoria Parade and at Level 1, 166 Clarendon Street East Melbourne. Ample on-site, undercover parking is available at Victoria Parade.
