Epworth Prostate Centre

Epworth Prostate Centre combines research, education and clinical care to improve the health and wellbeing of men with prostate cancer and associated conditions.

Our focus is prostate cancer research leading education and innovation in care.  Key activities include translational and clinical research, prostate cancer registries, plus the opportunity for men to be involved in clinical trials including a clinic for complex cases.

Clinical trial now open

Epworth Prostate Centre is currently seeking men with complex prostate cancer to be involved in a clinical trial investigating a new way of approaching prostate cancer to achieve better outcome for patients.

As part of the trial, eligible men attend a clinic providing a comprehensive assessment involving urologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and a clinical psychologist who collectively determine a management and treatment plan based on the latest research and drug treatments available. 

The clinic is specifically designed for men with recurrent or advanced prostate cancer, or prostate cancer which is not responding to treatment.
