Being involved in a road accident which requires hospitalisation can be a very stressful time. Many people are keen to be discharged home as soon as possible. Sometimes it is not until you return home that problems surface.


You can receive help with these problems at Epworth Rehabilitation. We offer both inpatient and outpatient services to help you overcome the challenges and get you back functioning as quickly as possible.


Epworth Rehabilitation has a range of trauma rehab services and programs available to support you. These include acquired brain injury (ABI) rehab, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, neuropsychology, social work and dietetics. We have specialised rehabilitation equipment, purpose-built gymnasiums and therapy spaces specifically designed to reflect real life day-to-day activities.

  • Ongoing pain
  • Memory loss and difficulty concentrating
  • Sadness, anger, anxiety, guilt
  • Difficulty walking - loss of strength and balance
  • Ongoing tiredness and loss of energy
  • Difficulties with returning to work or recreational or social activity
  • Issues with returning to driving
  • Difficulties with activities of daily living including hygiene, domestic and community
