The Jreissati family story
What my family and I are hoping to see...is a real tangible difference to early detection, patient experience and family experience.
We want to achieve better outcomes for you and your family
After experiencing the impact of pancreatic cancer across multiple generations, the Jreissati family set out to make a difference for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. In conjunction with the Epworth Medical Foundation, the Jreissati family established the Jreissati Family Pancreatic Centre at Epworth.
One of the Jreissati Family Pancreatic Centre at Epworth's primary objectives is to find a way to diagnose pancreatic cancer in the early stages of the disease. This will help achieve the centre's ultimate goal - to achieve better outcomes for patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
